Tess Kelly’s essays have appeared in Passages North, HerStry, Dorothy Parker’s Ashes, Sweet Lit, and Cleaver Magazine, among other publications.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Tess moved to the west coast in her twenties, after a two-year stint in the Peace Corps. Thanks to a friend’s prompting, she eventually landed in her adopted state of Oregon.
Tess lives in Portland where she works in the public schools and relishes the many wonders of the Pacific Northwest. She writes mostly on rainy days. There are plenty of them.
